As we all know, the polyvinyl chloride tarpaulin shares the features of waterproof, mildew proof, fire-retardant, and tear resistant. But that doesn’t means it can be brutally installed. Knowing the correct installation method, can prevent cracks or rupture to the PVC tarpaulin during an installation process. In some way, it can also extend the lifespan of the roofing tarp.
5 Steps to Firmly Install a Roof Mambrane onto a Tent Structure
Step 1: Place the PVC tarp on clean, flat and stable surface, and then tie up either sides with rope.
Step 3: Slow down, and pull gently when approaching the tent top area.
Step 4: Keep pulling until finish the whole unit.
Step 5: Fix the polyvinyl chloride tarp with U channel pipe on both ends.
Tips for Pvc Roofing Installation of a Modular Structure
Tip 2: Evenly pulling speed. In order to prevent crack or deformation when stretching the tarp, the speed of pulling should remain as consistent as possible.
Tip 3: Firmly Fixed. The both sides should be fully stretched and tightly fixed to prevent the waterproof coating peeling off from the crease.
Tip 4: Excessive force avoided. In order to ensure or even extend the lifespan of the PVC tarp, excessive force should be avoided during the whole process of installing and disassembling.
Tip 5: With the help of a machine. When the clear span width is over 30 meters, you can save manpower by tying the ropes on the vehicles and pulls together on the same end.
